Anybody know how to separate the different instruments I have in kontakt when I bounce stems? I assume the mute factor, but is there a more efficient route?
Thx

I'd probably have multiple MIDI/Audio tracks in the DAW and have the instruments receiving from different MIDI channels from the DAW tracks. Record outputs to the multiple audio channels.

I have 24GB RAM so I've been mad lazy and just load like 6 Kontakts.

Hey metatron are you speaking of having the ren in plugin mode with my daw?

I haven't found a rock solid way of running plugin mode within logic.

No Ren for me pk1. I've only posted in Ren threads when I can help with a clear answer on CPUs/RAM and OS related stuff just because so many users seemed to not be as used to really getting dirty with the computer itself when problems arose.
And I have way too many VST/AU installed so I made many recommendations in the threads on that stuff.

And rile you guys up into demanding multicore.

So I was just talking about the multi out Kontakt VST/AU in a DAW. I saw the post was just in Production Techniques and assumed you meant just hosted in any old DAW.

But sorry if I gave the impression I was describing a Ren routing. Most VST/AU threads here are Ren related for a while now.
