Controller maybe would indeed be icing but very useful.

But anyway you know I'm speaking as a non owner, so for me it's what would make me more inclined to cop one in the future.

Multi core, as you know is something I think would be great. It seems unlikely in 1.5.
But straight up if it gets in there you can say how much more powerful is a Ren than a Maschine?

The answer would be "How many cores you got on your CPU(s)". So it would be 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x more powerful than the competitor until they follow suit.

That's huge if it happens. And Akai could really go at NI hard if they had it before them.

After that yeah everybody would want Audio tracks and NDC.

Can those who are asking for audio tracks please explain what they mean by this and would use them for???

Lets say you got a sample, break, drum kit playing ... And you wanna add a guitar lick, or the audio outs of a hardware synth... You could just create a new "audio" track and record your performance just like you were adding something on the pads. Arm track, record .. Loops perfectly, etc.. Like any DAW

Audio tracks? You would do with audio tracks the same way Reason, Studio One, Reaper, Live, Logic, Acid Pro, Cool Edit, Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, etc users do with their audio tracks.

I'm not sure Akai would move the Ren into the audio track territory just yet. I sense they're happy for you to incorporate it into your DAW of choice for the audio/multi outs side of things.

It is a sampler/sequencer first & foremost is it not?

It's a workstation that has a sampler and sequencer. Nearly all software sequencers have audio tracks. Audio tracks in the MPC Software is inevitable...a logical, natural progression of the software. Note that the last flagship MPC had 8 hard disk audio tracks.

Apologies, I stand corrected :)

I don't think it is a matter of IF they will add this function....but WHEN. I suspect the same is true for NI Maschine.

Not to JAH. Coz...

Well, that's a relief, thank you very much. :Sigh:

OP is just utter nonsense. Diversionary tactic of JAH. It´s like wishing for a sliding glass sunroof on your Honda Integra that has three tires on it.

I wish I could agree Jah

But your wrong sorry Controller Mode is a standard when you have a massive controller like the Ren

having it perform like an mpd when it is one and much more is a standard buying an mpd on top if a Ren is the biggest invite to buying a mashine you could look for
