Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i watched a video of the heatmakers makin a beat and he held one pad down and it made the drum roll. how do you do that on the mpc 2000? ive been playin around tryin to do it but i cant figure it out. also, can you do it so the drum changes tone? like the just blaze drum roll in Fab's "Breath"

You can loop your drum and make it into a tight roll.
You place 2 of the same drum side by side and do your own drum roll.
You can 16 levels a drum and tune tweak the pads to your liking.
You can do alot of things to make it sounds like you want.

You gotta use your noodle and think about it.

ITS A dipset web site and if u go to videos, and under the dipset section, i think, theres a video of the heatmakers. the videos kinda hot too, u should check it out. if u cant find it let me know and ill find the link
