track mix changes every seq

Im sorry if this has been covered already. I did a quick search but nothing came up.

Is there a setting so every time the sequence changes the track mix stays the same??? right now every seq has its own mix levels. Thanks

No!

Completely ignore the track mixer. Set the outputs of all your programs, pads, VST instruments to 1/2. Then anytime you use your programs/pads and VST instruments in multiple tracks/sequences, you will maintain the same mixer settings as the previous sequences.

So in the track mixer, pull all the faders to 1/2 ? Then I can set mix levels and they won't change when i switch sequences?

Completely ignore the Track Mixer.

Set the Routing of Drum, Keygroup, and Plugins to Output 1/2. Then only use Program Mixer or Plugin Mixer. If you use a Drum Program in 3 Sequences and you adjust the levels of the pads, the same adjustments will be made in any sequence the Drum Program is used in.

While this won't please those that desire to use the Track Mixer, this is still an option should you need a global mixer.

So mix in the sequence mixer instead of the track mixer. I was concerned when the track mixer was changing levels on different sequences lol . I found out that When you convert your song into a sequence you can use the track mixer to set levels for export.

If you plan to use multiple sequences and chain them together in a song, trying to mix while composing can be a headache as each sequencer has its own mixer. So t would be best to compose, create a song, thing export the song as a single sequence. Then you can mix.

The other alternative (which has limitations as well), is to do what I suggest and only use the Program Mixer.
