My main priority is the mixer. Second would be multicore. After those two, I don't care what order the rest come in! These two things are the two main things that hold me back with the Ren as far as creativity is concerned.

Why is Pad Copy in the options when it's already implemented?

Works fine for me, or do you mean something else?

Control Mode!!

WHY?

Look @ Akai Website

"MPC Renaissance
Music Production Controller"

and Native Instruments Maschine has a Midi Control Mode on upper Left side.

Control mode is essential, especially if the competition is selling units because they have it implemented already.

here's a genius idea..... stability! if i leave my mpc2500 on overnight i can come back to my piece and it plays just like it did the day before.... my ren.. it sometimes (once is one too many) will crash if left alone for a simple bathroom break.

Yeah just crashed on me for no good reason. Lost 10 minutes of intricate work which is such a pain to try & recreate!!!!

Just loaded up the last saved version. I lost about 30 mins of intricate work (sequence editing & automation). Fantastic :WTF:

TommyTench wrote:how about a built in eq section in program edit? just two bands (hi/low) would be amazing. A lot of times I want to turn the highs up on certain sounds like snares but having to load a plugin isnt ideal for such a simple task.

That's what the built in filters are for. Just apply them on the whole program or single pads. Easy.

What i would really like to see are busses in the mixer section!! At the moment, i can't apply the built in effects on the drums for example, i have to insert them on the master, which affects everything. I need busses!!!

Some users wanted a Pad Copy function that works in the same manner as Pad Duplication in Maschine.
