2000xl note repeat button is changing my tempo

Is anybody else having this issue? While holding down the note repeat button in the middle of recording the pattern it will drop the tempo down to 30 BPM. It is doing this the majority of the time.

If you tap it slow it will adjust your tempo to be really slow. Your not really holding it down, your maybe letting up off of it and then pressing again. Remember it's also a TAP TEMPO button which is what it's doing.

Repeated presses change tempo = TAP TEMPO.

Holding it while holding a pad down is = NOTE REPEAT
according to your current main window TIME CORRECT.

Are you holding a pad down while holding TAP TEMPO/NOTE REPEAT?

it is a dangerous dual function button but has only been a problem like one time, was human error.

if you are convinced you are using it properly, it could be your tact switch is going out and while you think you are holding it down, it is firing a couple times under the hood anyway.
