Can somebody recommend a card reader for my new MPC3000

I've been on this board for almost 10 years as a MPC2000XL user..its been a great machine, but I've always been drawn to the Roger Linn machines.

I just recently got a MPC3000 with 3.11 OS and want to immediately put a CF Card Reader inside it. Ive gone through the search of this board and found so much info my head is about to explode. Can somebody point me in a cheap WORKING card reader..and it doesnt have to be hot swap..but if it is thats a PLUS!

Oh yeah and I recently bought the following items on ebay..as far as connectors is this all i need?

Yeah i'm interested myself. I know it has been discussed for me too it is still not clear. Could anybody just post like you need this this and that for non hotswap, this for hotswap and thats it.

Buy:

A Delock 91640 CF reader. ~£50

An Acard 7720U. ~£100

You will need the right connectors to take power to the Acard and CF reader and to take scsi to the Acard, but they are easy to acquire and are cheap.

Done... With hotswap!

That is exactly what I use with my mpc 3000. It's beautiful.
The Acard 7720UW will probably work too. I can test it if you like as I also have one.

The most expensive part is the Acard, so scan around for the cheapest you can find.

I also have this combo in my Akai S1000 and Roland S750.

I can even take my CF card from my S1000 and load it up directly in the 3000 if I desire

Many thanks jimmie that pretty much sums it up. With an external tray i take it that will work for building an external reader too, right?
