Which aspects of the software should have the highest priority?

Here is my Top 5:

1. Audio tracks
2. Nondestructive chopping
3 Insert FXs in Sampling Record Mode
4. One shot sample playback in Sample Trim/Edit
5. Improved data wheel utilization when editing samples (1s, 10s, 100s, 1000s, etc)

That's what the built in filters are for. Just apply them on the whole program or single pads. Easy.



This is inaccurate Acura. Filters FILTER frequencies out, meaning they cut (completely). Tench is saying he wants to add gain to the high frequencies, not completely remove gain from others.

side chain should be coupled with parameter modulation... meaning you could control inserts effects parameters and mpc parameters from and send signal from somehere else... So your not just limited to using comps or gates for that typical sidechain ducking sound....

like
using a sidechain signal from pad 1 to control the filter resonace of pad 2 .. or it could be linked to the pitch/tune of pad 2 first sample layer... or you could link it to the send 1 level for track 2 ..

This function is in reaper.. bascially giving you a really flexible and ulimited amount of routing freedom...

Thanks Hellfire for breaking it down. Haha I knew this would happen. Someone saying "just use the filterrrrrsssss maaannnn." I should have added that this would be *in addition* to the existing filter section in program edit.

A lot of great ideas. Keep them flowing. I lost track of how many feature suggestions from this forum have made it to an MPC Software update over the past 10 months.

I left bug fixing and improving stability off the list as those are obvious priorities.

The Step Sequencer isn't broken based upon your description. You access all the steps by using the Pad Bank buttons.

Besides crashes, errors, bugs and stability with software and plug ins...

-Multicore
-Use software without controller
-Ability to select all, multi, single in pad edit from the Hardware
-Ability to use MPC as midi controller for other daws/Some type of midi learn feature for the MPC hardware to use with other DAWS.
-Make the sequencer grid window larger or gives us ability to detach it from the software's main window and resize it.
-Double click NOTE REPEAT button to lock it (similar to pad banks and modes)
-Improve the Mixer
-Add better visuals and better graphics to the akai stock plugins
-More abilities to drag and drop midi/audio, reorder tracks, effects, place things in and out of the software
-Make everything automatable
-Multisample programs
-Ability to turn off LCD when not using the software
-Turn the browser on the left into multiple browsers one on top of the other, one for samples/folders, and another for vsts, another that lists tracks and sequences, etc...
-Ability to customize colors of tracks and events and things inside the software/skins
-Quantize on the main window on hardware lcd screen
-Make sequencer keep playing when loading sounds
-Add insert(s) effects on incoming sample signal
-Real-time time stretch
-Ability to reverse without destruction
-Make copy of samples if I edit them instead of overwriting them
-Browser sample preview volume
-If I am using with Mpc Renaissance/mpc software, but using another audio interface under my settings, my volume knob should control main volume of software
-More vintage modes
-Step Edit (I suggest make OTHER mode on the hardware go to step edit for whatever track your on)
-Ability to ERASE automation when pressing erase
-Any graphical or visual upgrades to the software are welcome
