Starting a new project

When I go into program and select new project then load it with no samples as a new project it still has filter, pan and other settings from the previous project, not actually giving me a new project. Does anyone else have this problem or do you just have to go through and zero all the settings again?

I never had that problem. Are you creating new Programs and Sequences as well? If you don't start with a newly fresh Program, all the settings from the old song will remain.

You must have an autoload folder in the root of it memory card..u need to delete this folder so when u power on ur mpc starts fresh.. when saving a entire memory project on the second line you can change project to autoload. What this does is save ur project in a autoload folder in ur root of the cf card, this folder causes the mpc to load the project inside all the settings and everything..this is kinda cool. I just learned of this thanks to you and your post.. mad props!!
