what t.c do you use and why?

i usually use 1/16(3) depending, but i would like to know more about how you guys use the swing features ect...if you change the swing will it make all the tracks swing like in fruity loops?anyone use other time signature like the triplets..let me know

got a another sub question, anyone know where i can find some good production videos online, perhaps some tutorials...always looking to perfect my craft

I thought 1/16(3) was triplets
Anyway. I use all the different signatures and the swing feature. Try holding the repeat button and a pad while changing the time signature. Can make some nice effects this way - fx with highat.

I usually have my tc at either 1/16 or 1/32 but, i do have my tempo cranked up around 175-195 because i am programming all of my tracks on double time. To me it just swings a lot better and you have this ghetto knock in the beat. Check the soundclick site. All of them are programmed as i mentioned above

Hell NO, akai knew this would be as useless as mentioning it in the manual.

why would this be useless? drumers spend months practicing how to put there own 'feel' into playing not quantise sounds too robotic in some cases, but the akai machines do have a nice sound dont get me wrong

mr rezzy..i think you can actually..when you go to the tc menu, theres an option of putting it OFF that what it does right?
