Feature Request for 1.5!? (Keygroup Timestretch)

AKAI PLEASE ADD BPM MASTER SYNC !!!!!!! I dont know how they forgot this .They did it with the Akai 5000 then they fixed now the Ren really Akai come on .

CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH!

Being able to trigger different Pad Layers via the Velocity Sliders, but with Full Level activated.

(It would be nice that the Velocity Sliders would recognize the velocity of a Pad that's been hit at Full Level.)

Why?

Because when I play live, I like having Full Level On (for multiple reasons). And when I play with Full Level, I would like some Pads (for example, the Pads used for my hi hats), to play different Layers according to how hard I hit these Pads.

I would LOVE to be able to increase/decrease the Pad Banks using the pedal (footswitch).

Right now, all we can do is assign a specific Pad Bank per footswitch. But in most of my live stuff, I need three, even four Pad Banks, and I switch from one another usually by increasing and decreasing manually (and by doing so, I often push by mistake the 16 level button, the track mute button, etc.).

It has the same Mixer because you are using a Program Mixer (as opposed to an actual Track Mixer as seen in the Ren/Studio software) in multiple sequences.

Likewise, if you take any Program and assign in to multiple Sequences within the Ren...any changes you make to the Program Mixer will be applied to all sequences that use the same program.

But the point taken is that many here want the Track Mixer to perform in a similar fashion. But I am interested in how it could be pulled off. If Sequence 1, Track 1 is a Drum Kit...and Sequence 2, Track 1 is a piano patch plugin....turning down Track 1 on 'global mixer' would effect both instruments. This would not be desirable I think.

I believe that a lot of us create 1 beat per project, with each Sequence belonging to the same beat / project, where each Sequence uses the same Tracks for the beat / project. Example :

• Track 01: drums;
• Track 02: bass;
• Track 03: samples.
• Etc.

02_ If that is not possible, please let us apply Effects to whole programs to mimic this, and we're going to be happy I think.

01- Maybe making the universal Track Mixer an option? That way, everybody would be happy...

02- If we at least have the option to let us apply Effects/Plug-Ins to whole Programs (maybe with the "All" Edit Zones?), maybe that would be enough? That wouldn't interfere with the way the Track Mixer is presently designed...

I cannot use my MPC studio more than half an hour without a crash..
So I just hope and wait for 1.5

Anybody know it might be realeased?

First, welcome to the forum as it 'appears' this is your first post. Crashing can be due to many things including buggy and/or torrent plugins, exceeding the capabilities of your computer, etc.

Post your specific issue(s) in the bug report thread. You may even find your issue has already been reported. If it is a bug, we can get in resolved by a developer. If you fail to report your bug(s), you can be hoping and waiting for a long time.

I have actualy re-installed it and even change computer and upgrade OS (last osX) since I got my MPC Studio.

And it still unstable,
All my other DAW software work fine,
I actualy love the workflow and the software but so far I cannot even report a specific bug it just... crash..

I am primarily a Ren user but previously a Studio user. They share the same software. I use the MPC Software every day, hours a day not experiencing the issues you are having. So I am sure I can assist you. As I wrote above, give details about the issues you are having in the appropriate thread and I will be glad to help.

It's probably a little to late for 1.5. Since Pete dropped the

But please update the Copy Track function to be able to copy a track from one seq. and place on selected track in other seq. please?!
