NEED HELP MPC 2000XL

Hello, i am having a problem with my mpc 2000xl, when i cut the samples and put em on mono, whenever i play on the pads it sitll overlaps. A friend of mine says it may be because of the mpc program, can enyone help me please? thanks alot.

please explain in more detail what exactly your issue is...

the problem is when i play diferent pads, i should cut the previous sound, and so on, but in reality it still playes and messes the sound up. cumps

and those samples are all within the same program and the program itself is set to mono?

ye after i trim i go to program, set the samples to mono

i cant explane better :s i am new to this, still lurning. :s

i forget that the2000XL doesn't let you set the MONO setting to the entire program like on the 2500/1000.

highlight where it says mono in the parameters and press the OPEN WINDOW button... you can configure the pad mutes from there.

Just to educate you a bit about this function, your only able to mute two pads at a time. So your going to have to get creative.
