That's exactly how the Monotribe PCB is, again Korg is awesome to leave these options there by design.

An acquaintance told me that he got his. I am still waiting on mine. Did anyone in here pre-order?

Maybe it will be there when I get home one day this week.

Nick from Sonic State has only had his review models for a few days, so I'm guessing they have been delayed for the general public.

I preordered mine as soon as they were announced. Waiting for the Beats model. I haven't gotten it yet, but I check the mail daily. I read somewhere that they were pushed back to October. Have no idea if that's true or not, but it gives me something to look forward to. One sweet day...

I've had the opportunity the play around with them for a fair bit and here is my opinion:

Beats - Meh, doesn't really bring much that I aim interested in. Its just OK for me. others milage may vary though.

Keys. - One trick pony, very steppy filter - didn't like it much, the novelty wore off very quickly with this one - the sound gets pretty old. Fast.

Bass - the best of the lot.

That's disappointing to hear. I can imagine the circuit benders really opening them up though.

Yeah, I'm set on the bass. The GAS for the others has worn off.

disappointing re the keys.

No disrespect but one man's trash is another man's treasure. I recall in the 80's smashing up a tb303 and an old casio with my cousins. We were young and thought these were toys. Who knew that the glitchy weird sounds would become legendary.
We used to strap GI Joe men on it with a rubber band and push it down the steps. My older cousins left it at my grandmother's house and yeah you made sounds but it was more fun as a toy.
I think that inexpensive hardware in the right hands, an artist's hands, can produce wonderful results.

All that said, I don't have my volcas and I am hoping it wasn't a cruel joke.

That is just awesome.. I was right there on the stairs with you for just a second. Waiting for you to clear the way so I can run my lego death trap down to see if it'll stay together. Wish I had that 303. and the G.I. Joes ....
