Compare that to my old set-up, and this is all I am running with. It's all I have. I am fighting a battle at the moment that could end bad, so I've gone back to basics and use my time to work on an album or something personal. Should the worst happen my family can listen to my emotion through my music.

My gift to them, a gift from God, and to the world, for allowing me 28 years on this planet.

If all goes well, well, music is therapy. I am preparing.

Love to the forum <3

Make sure no passersby get a good look at your gear. It looks like the pavement is right next to your window.

Other than that, just take it easy. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'm not too worried about people round this area as crime is non existent. But, I have just gotten up and closed the curtains. I wish I had space for it elsewhere, but the reason I set it up here is because there is an alleyway each side of my house that separates my house from the neighbors so I can play music pretty loud late at night. Something I can't do in the bedroom.

Thanks for the heads up. Curtains closed just in case.

Like I mentioned in of my posts I went back to my parents, back to the village life for one week to do recordings for our upcomming mixtape. We used the attic of the garage:

I'm doing some beatmaking with a friend of mine. He has go a really dope setup: Tr909, Juno106 and a little phatty. I always bring my mac and mpc1000 with me to make some faya together:

Sorry for bombing this thread, I wanted to do the previous post like a month ago but I'm a bit lazy with the uploading pictures and such. This is my current setup.
I live in the centre of Amsterdam, so space is really a problem. I keep moving stuff around for different type of processes.

This is when I'm recording and mixing:

Got that Faderport for Logic. Saves me a lot of mousing.

The mic, TT and dj mixer:

And this is my beatmaking setup:

Tryed many pieces of gear last couple of years, but everytime I come back to my trusty mpc. Still use that S950, mostly for drums every now and then. Reason as sound module and got me that Gaia yesterday for some hands on synthesising.
Motu 828mkII interface. More than I need

And most of the time my laptop is lying on the coffee table, so I only bring it in the process when I really need it. No distractions or whatsoever.

I thought I had heard some fat TR-909 samples, until the fist time I heard a REAL one stumping my eardrums. Holy ****, ain't that same punchy fatness. I used to be sceptic about it, but now I totally agree that nothing, I mean nothing can't be compared to the original stuff.
