MPC 1000 OS

Hi Guys....

im from germany so first i have to sry bout my bad english =)
today i bought a mpc 1000 and theres the 4.76 os on it...
this os is from 2007 right?
now i dont know which one is better for me... the jj 4.76 or the new jj free os?!

im thankful for every answer

but now i leave my 4.76 and switch to jj free os...
it sucks cause i cant find attack/release-decay for my samples...
how can i switch back...??
i have no serial and bin for 4.76 cause i bought it about ebay and have no contact to the seller!!

Install the JJOS OS 1 again. If the orginal seller purchased the serial for it, the MPC will let you save. If the original didn't purchase one then you would have to buy one.

Install the JJOS OS 1 again. If the orginal seller purchased the serial for it, the MPC will let you save. If the original didn't purchase one then you would have to buy one.

okay i will try it... but its 5.00 not 4.76?!

i tried and it works.... how can it be?? would be greate if someone would explain it to me =)

The OS is updated, so the versions are sequential in number and now you have the latest version.
Paid versions have to be unlocked with a code number that relates to MPC OS and so then gets stored in MPC - thus you can update and save with new version.
Also try XL and OS3 if you want to see the full blown version.

...invest in jjos 2 xl!!!

the mpc 1000 becomes a complete different machine and a real killer with it...!

don't even start to get into the akai os or the free jj version.....

get straigth to the real thing.....and don't worry about envelopes and stuff...it's all there and way beyond....

it's the best 80 bucks you can invest.....

to switch between os versions....just hold the stop button during turn on....

to find out what is the best, just test em all homie.. **** the akai os, dont test that shit, it crashed on me the first time i turned it on and i wasnt even doing anything, i got the jjos from the start, then slowly went to the jjos2xl

The -PAID- JJOS is a must for the 1000, and you are supporting a great cause by purchasing a license. So many new features and a completely comfortably-designed workflow. You can't go wrong with JJOS

JJOS1 is fine as well... you guys act like it's a waste of time or something... i like being able to use 2 filters at a time... sue me.

yeh, i get great usage out of jjos1

So since i have JJOS1 loaded, if i try out say, jjos2 then want to go back to my OS1 i just hold stop on startup?
