Ultimately...this is what I want. I want to forgo any other DAW and use the Ren/MPC Software from start to finish.

Say I have a kick pattern entered on a track. When I browse, I want the sounds Im previewing to apply to that pattern.
In other words, temporarily load it to the pattern I've entered, without having to load the sound up. That way, I can hear how it's going to sound in context.
