I have been switching between jjos 3.16, and the latest free akai os, both have given me saving drama. I love the mpc , but I will try jjos2xl next. If it doesn't work, **** it, I will buy a maschine. It is not good enough to have these bugs.

Imagine having a phone and not being able to save a phone number, having to enter it in every time you use it. What is with the saving issues ??, please help !

Does anyone think jjos2xL will resolve my problems or am I dreaming ?
I have read about bugs on it too. You can't win.

Make folder for the file... title the folder then follow these steps

Save Entire Memory>Save all programs and samples>save all sequences and songs

In that order...

then when you load it click on the folder and press load>do it

You're right about that. It is a stupid question.

Now that you stroked your egos, allow me. There is no password for v 3.16, wtf are you referring to ? Believe me , I make a new folder every time I save entire memory, just as per every thread on this forum regarding the matter.

As soon as have done a session, I go Save->Save Entire Memory->cursor to next column Memory Card , and 'New' appears. I press it thus creating a new folder ,name the folder, then open the folder and save entire memory . It used to work for months, now the screen just freezes when I press 'New'.

That was required to prevent saving errors.

But in those past threads op has missed this bit of info that was also in many of those same threads and several others.

Please do this.

Have you never had a memory card or any other computing-related thing act up? If your computer slows, do you just buy a new one immediately?

Back up your card, reformat, reinstall the OS, try a different card, etc... pretty standard troubleshooting stuff.
