I got my now MPC 2500 recently and I did a lot of research of it.
everything else is fine with me, But now i got a huge problem with this and i checked a lot of websites, nothing i learned..

so Please help me with this and I'll be appreciate!!!

1.
I watched some videos on youtube, And I find some guys track out the sounds separately into pro tools, like......you know, they got 4 tracks on pro tools, one for the melody, one for the kick.......one for snare so on..... and they start recording, each of the tracks on pro tools just begin to recording separately....instead of tracking out the whole sequence into only one track, this is what i can only do....

2.
tracking out the whole sequence into one track on logic pro , i think i can do it without midi cable, i just connect the stereo out to my fireface 400 and its just work as well....

now i really dont know how does these whole thing works!!!
i just wanna track out my beat separately into Logic Pro....please help me out....

THANKS!!!!!

You have read Page 91 of the manual - Chapter 14:Mixer about Mode Pad 8 and the L/Out tab on F2 to send your sounds to different outputs, haven't you?

And Chapter 10 Page 52 about Mode Pad 9, synchronising external midi devices? :hmmm:

Then follow the steps described in this vid:

Midi connection isn't a must if you only want to record the audio and can record all the tracks in one recording.
