Has anyone come across any issues with their stems being bounced out of the MPC Renaissance or Studio? I want to rearrange the beat in Logic Pro 9 for sequencing purposes and my omnisphere vst stems go over 8 bars. It's just the tail end of the sounds and when I cut the tail end off it cuts the sound short. I've tried recording my beat into Logic Pro 9 using the 8 multi outputs with bussing and auxiliary tracks but it doesn't record at bar 1? The sounds start to come in at bar 2. I've even moved the start point to 0 and -1 and still come across the same problem. I really need help from anyone. I'm sitting on a lot of beats and can't get beats out.

Others have had this issue and were advised to start the MPC sequence (inside the MPC) after bar 2...just copy it all and delay it by a bar or two,or 3 even.

When exporting make sure you put in your tail to around 5 seconds or so so you catch the tail end of your audio and you should be good to go.

I do a lot of exporting of my MPC tracks into Reaper or Cubase and it works brilliantly for me. Admittedly I do the work solely on the MPC, export audio and just drag the tracks in to the DAW for final mixdown.

Works a treat.

"Others have had this issue and were advised to start the MPC sequence (inside the MPC) after bar 2...just copy it all and delay it by a bar or two,or 3 even." Can you please explain this process in detail? I usually make the beat in the MPC, i've sequenced in the MP also but don't like to mix in there. Are you bouncing full songs out of your MP or are you just bouncing your stems out at the length of your sequence, i.e. 4 bars 8 bars etc..

Can you both provide a video of what you are doing in Logic 9 with the Ren?

Jah. I'll try and make a vid for this asap! I'm having tons of issues. Jah do you know what nubian mindz meant by this "Others have had this issue and were advised to start the MPC sequence (inside the MPC) after bar 2...just copy it all and delay it by a bar or two,or 3 even" I understand the concept but i'm not sure what he meant by start the sequence after 2 bars.

Hi,

You can try to Arrange the gross structure of the song on the REN and Mix it in logic.

Add an empty 1bar sequence at the beginning of the song to avoid the first bar stuttering.

Route your MPC Tracks to Audio tracks in Logic with the 8 virtual stereo outputs of the MPC plugin, Track out in logic like older MPC, recording tracks in Real-time. Then fine Arrange your track and add what you want within Logic.

I really think, it's the best way to have a good result... But JAH should help you. It's just my point of view and my idea for you.

Look how JAH tracks out in protools, It'll help you, maybe.

Inserting blank bars in your sequence is a technique that has been used since the inception of MIDI. This is done to ensure multiple MIDI devices are in perfect sync.
