Need Help with my mpc2000xl

Im new to producing so I only know the basics if that.. but for some reason my set up isnt working... here is my set up..

I have a t.62 stanton turntable(which I want to use to sample directly into the mpc) which is connected to a phono preamp which is connected to my mpc then from my mpc to my audio interface(steinberg UR 22) which is then connected to my macbook but for some reason the sound is only coming from turntable at a low frequency why isn't the sound processing through my computer or even the mpc? and is my setup correct or do I need additional hardware?.. Any words of wisdom or advice will be greatly appreciated as I'm very anxious into starting to produce music

The t.62 has a standard dual rca cable connected to the bbe fjb-200 X preamp then I have another dual rca cable with quarter inch converters at both ends connected to the mpc then i have dual quarter inch cables connected from the mpc to the Steinberg UR 22 usb interface and the setup still doesnt work

correct and i'll check the pad settings and mixer volume thats probably the problem

It would be good if you explained what exactly the problem was and how you fixed it in case someone else has the same problem in the future.
