once again...asr-10 users. Help!

I've asked this before but never got a clear answer. I was told that in order for you to sample from your turntable, into your asr you need a mixer, because you cannot hook your TT directly into the Asr. So my question is, what type of mixer?? A DJ mixer with a crossfader OR a mixer board with sliders and what not? I will be so appreciative for the answer. Thx

A DJ mixer would do the trick.

You can plug any gear with a line level output into the ASR10 and sample away. A mixer would be perfect.

And if you dont wanna take up space with a mixer, you can get a preamp. My boy got one of these:
