A good product doesn't need this kind of hype. People will talk about a good product when its released. Instead of ads, Akai should put the money in development to come up with a effin dope instrument or shut the **** up.

With this sort of hype – "Rock solid" and all – and with all the bugginess Ren users have had to go through...It had better be the absolute **** bomb, seriously, if they're going to live up to it. I hope they will.

Sure, mine is concerned as well. :smoker:
One thing is sure : A encrypted hype announcement like this, generates 4 pages of comment of fans of Akai here, and most elsewhere : Akai's not dead. I just hope that the answer will be up to the advertising promise. This is not just a game for lovers-buyers. The bet is won, or lost. Lot of things could be released to improve current products specially for the Ren - which is not far from great - (1st Soft, 2nd, Hard) :-D

 I'm a little pessimistic about it. The only promises are those of the elements (air, fire, stone, etc..) On which it is not easy to put on any sexy underwear.

Marketing 101 ladies/gents…advertise your new and upcoming products. :WTF:

Hype is typically generated from those that are watching the advertisements. Expecting something monumental…or some next level product? The majority of guys posting in this thread admittedly don’t even buy Akai products...so you (plural) are merely prepping the forum for your onslaught of negative comments regardless of what is coming.

True good product hardly needs any advertising, word of the mouth is the most effective ...Akai ads look like they were done in MS Paint so here's hoping that money was spent on the development...wouldnt hold my breath breath

Thus the reason you are not in the business of marketing. This is a global business......

Akai will not cease their marketing campaign based on your expertise. So get use to it.
