Well yes and no.. Depends on if you plan to use one of the adapters it comes with or not.. Without using the adapter it flows more air than akai deemed necessary but still loud (for me personally).
When you use the lowest RPM adapter (ULNA) then, yes, its flowing less air, but it shuts it right up. thats a risk im taking..
To be honest, from the research i did on this a while ago, i dont think a fan exists which can flow as much air as the factory akai fan and keep the noise level at around 8.2 DB's (inaudible for me)..
