Has anyone had any experience with this audio interface (the red one) ? Its got to be better than my alesis io2. Plus it looks like a tank yo lol. And on a site note i cant get my copy to logic to talk to my mpc, just want to track beats into it. I know there was a how to on this site but i cant find it. Cheers guys.

I believe the eie is usb 1.1
Dunno about you but I expect at least usb 2 these days.

Check the specs of any interface you consider.
Most manufacturer websites offer pdf downloads of all their current (and often legacy) products. I find these very useful when trying to choose equipment.

Do you need 4 inputs/outs or can you make do with two?

You haven't given any specs as to what you need.
You haven't specified a budget.
You haven't specified whether you've looked at anything else.

it's probably not going to be better than what you currently have.... it's probably going to be worse. google that interface and you'll see the shit ton of issues people have had with theirs. Also, take a double check on what drivers support that interface... you may find yourself unimpressed.

lastly, alesis is owned by the same company akai pro is...... maybe you could look at something on the used market in that price range that would serve you better.
