Here's what I'm trying to accomplish - I want to plug my guitar/bass into my pod xt, and be able to play it with the fx on but record it clean. I've got that part hooked up just fine, no problem. I then, however, want to reamp into the Pod XT, essentially using it as an outboard FX box for my recorder.
Due to running out of I/O on my 1880, plus it'd be all nice and clean, I'm trying to get this to happen through spdif and can't seem to get it done. The thing is, both of these boxes are fairly new to me, so I'm not entirely sure where I'm getting tripped up.
From what I can tell, I definitely have the PODXT set right. DigOut is set to SPDIF and on the Digital Out screen of the Clock section, I've tried all the formats. I know thats for sync, not audio but figured it'd be worth mentioning.
On the VS1880, all I've done is route the Digital input to various tracks with no success. I've poked around like a mofo in the settings and don't see anything that's glaringly obvious.
I'm about to go climb into bed with my manuals, but figured I'd ask here just in case I can't get this figured out. Thanks.
