ive found another way to do that so i guess people can use both!

install ifunbox, on the left click: User Applications/Beatmaker 2/Documents/User.

Drop the samples into the User folder and now they appear inside beatmaker folder "My Content"

I've never used ifunbox so I didn't know, but yeah, that sounds good too.

How come you didn't see that option in ifunbox before?

ifunbox is the easiest way to do all that kind of stuff. Total access to the file system on every app.

I am never jumping through unnecessary FTP/Cloud hoops again, with ifunbox an iOS device dealing with local file tasks is like...ANY OTHER USB DEVICE ON EARTH

If I needed to get my files when I wasn't home I could see myself using wireless/FTP/Cloud solutions. But the inability to just copy/move files over USB in Explorer had been my biggest annoyance with iOS for years.

iFunbox requires itunes installed on computer. For some odd ass reason and I wasn't trying to hard in the first place is I have never been able to get my ipad recognized by itunes on my pc. I don't like itunes anyway so I like said, I didn't try to hard and have shunned off itunes for years now.

Why does ifunbox utilize data from the iTunes folder?

Since installing ifunbox, I haven't used iTunes once to deal with anything on my iPad. I just run ifunbox and deal with apps from the app store/cloud DL's.

Installing on pc it tells me it requires itunes. I don't know why and could give the lesser of 3.5 ****.
I've been fine without it so I wont miss it.

Are there any iOS apps that offer basic workstation sounds along the lines of a Triton/Motif/Fantom/etc.?

Wow. Had no clue that was on iOS. I messed with it on the PC years ago. Thanks!

Yeah Bismark BS-16i is really nice. I think it was actually Ocular who hipped me to it, if that was you, thanks again homie. I load all kinds of old E-MU and Ensoniq Soundfonts. It's cool that an iPhone/iPad can access the gazillion Soundfonts out there when used as a sound module.

Sugarbytes has the Thesys MIDI app at $7.99 right now. Definitely worth the price.
