Edit Virtual Analog Synth parameters with Midi CC Messages e

Hi,

I would like to edit the parameters of the MPC5000 Virtual Analog Synth externally.
I am really sad that there is not much information around about the synth.
I want to make a TouchOSC editor for the synth.

Just off the top of my head I'd say if it is possible then you'd require the specific sysex command. Perhaps hook the 5000 up to the computer and use a program like midi-ox to receive incoming messages?

Do synth parameter settings are transmitted on the output? I don't think so. But if yes, it could be the right way.
