I just replaced the back light on my mpc 60mkII and it is still dim. Does that mean I need a new LCD screen? I can read the menus but its just dark. Any ideas?

I can only assume then its an inverter issue it happened to me on an s1000 where the screen would only start to light up a few minutes after turning the unit on, with a good backlight

It was a joke because you were talking about backlighting and it got flipped to adjusting the contrast.

Even when there is no backlight the contrast knob adjust the display quality because it's unrelated to the backlight.
So it was ironic to me that you said you could read the menus but it's dark and the first reply you got was did you adjust the contrast.

I could tell it was a joke but didnt quite get it :) it is possible to see the text and the ligjt is still dim. Backlight sellers advise as well for contrast adjustment aftr backlight installation for the backlight to get brighter
