Any tips on fast, multi playered program creation?

I'm making a ton of really detailed, velocity sensitive, 4 layer programs, usually with about 30-ish pads each....and an it's taking forever.

Anybody know any tips or tricks on how to do this uch quicker? The only thing thats taking forever is assigning each sample to each zone. Other than that it's been super easy.

what i really find annoying here, is when you select a new pad, you have to dial through all your samples in mem to find the right one - no folder browsing here

it could be quicker if you renamed your samples with this in mind

oh, you can go to the previous pad, change the sample one forth & then back and then go to the next pad -> when you turn the dial you have the next sample in list

of course you started from a template program?

i also find it difficult to hit the pads at the right velocity when you create a program like this / if you have 4 diff vel.zones for four diff. samples, i create a sequence with the right pads and right velo. to check things out

What I do is number the samples, go to main page hit pad assign and dial in the samples on the pads I want lickey split. Of course this on works on drum programs.
