I need some advice on adding an EMU Proteus 2000 to my studio setup; Here's what I have:
MPC 2k, Triton LE keyboard, Digi002/Protools and Reason 2.5
Here's the setup:
Digi 002 MIDI OUT 1 -> MPC MIDI IN A
Trition LE MIDI OUT -> MPC MIDI IN B
Triton LE MIDI IN -> MPC MIDI OUT B
PC USB/MIDI -> MPC MIDI OUT A ( To sequence reason into the MPC WITHOUT using MIDI tracks in ProTools )
What I want to do is plug the MIDI in of the Proteus to the Triton's MIDI Thru port and sequence the sounds from the Proteus on the MPC. Someone told me to try turnin the volume all the way down on the Triton. What should I do to get this workin ?
