where should i go in sydney for some records

im goen down under for a few weeks to sydney...where are some good spots to dig at reasonable prices and or cheap as phuck? dont worry you can tell me the good spots cause im only goen to be there for a little bit, so please help me out mates!

Discovery usually has some gear, however 'John" has opened his own store somewhere, ask about him and I'm sure you'll track him down. Also have a dig at 'Good Groove'.

I found some spots, but I don't know many names.

where are these places located at?

Good Groove is off Oxford St. Close to the city.

Discovery is a trains ride to Hornsby ... Then find the main drag.

Only going to Sydney?

yea thats where the fam lives--- ill be specifically in wahroonga and manly

cold sweat records in Dee Why (just up the road from manly) may have some stuff but they're hit and miss.

discovery have changed locations i think. i was told they had opened 1 in Glebe and 1 in Erskinville.

i only just moved to sydney so i might not be the best for this kinda advice.

find a copy of the yellow pages(the phone directory) and look up compact disc and record stores(under c) and all the good record stores are in there..dont bother with discovery cuz they closed down and dont bother with good grove cuz they are shit..mostly just stick with the city area..look up martins records in the city for good re-issues

are there any second hand stores or thrift stores or salvation army type deals worth goen to....
