Makes you wonder if AKAI were really listening to their customers when undongling the software...or if they were just doing it as a necessity because they heard whispers of what was coming down the pipe @ NI

the lack of audio ins and outs on the actually unit itself make me feel like 1000$ price point is a bit high.. if you can get it with deals etc for around 800 i feel like that'd make more sense

looks solid to me!! some real smart moves... the built in stand, the mixer,sidechain, multicore, etc cant wait to see akai's response

i bet the software is stable too.

The Sweetwater add said it was an audio interface...I don't see anything on the back panel.

I'm wondering if this new controller will replace the current MKII or if NI will try to market the Studio, MKII and Mikro all at the same time. Hopefully the current controllers will get the 2.0 software update.

Is like NI want to charge 400$ for two pretty screens and the jog wheel right positioned...I don't see it's value either

If I was into computer beatmaking, it would be an automatic pickup. Very nicely done.
