Proof that Akai is committed to Ren progress!

Small forum feature requests implemented over the past year that I was happy to see implemented:
1. Insert slices by double clicking on wave form
2. Audition slices on by default
3. MIDI Track Improvements
4. DAW host transport control
5. AD envelopes
6. 16 or 24 bit recording
7. Rearranging LCD so Cursor/data dial can edit params
8. MPC 4000 Next Sequence Mode
9. Browse plugin presets from hardware
10. Zoom/Scroll using Qlinks

Because of the time frame...I am curious to see if a major update is released for them to show off at Winter Namm 2014.

Well well... The progress IS coming along, I must say. Looks good and I am very hopeful for whatever may leak out in the future. (IRCAM timestretch)

Why is it that Dan always looks like he just hit 3 cables back-to-back?

Where is my global mixer or at the very least my 32 virtual out puts.
Well, I may take the Ren out of its box and use it as a midi controller....
Akai - Im delighted you have seen sense and ditched the boat size dongle. However, can you put your coding peeps on to a global mixer for the next update. I know its not something you can stick on a marketing flyer - but its a damn useful thing for your user base to have as can be seen by the 13.3 billion records mixed on standard mixers... 8)

+1. And I'm glad to see the improvements and progress.

When I see the virtual outputs, it'll be out of the box again. But glad for everyone that's using theirs to the fullest, and happy for everyone that benefits from the updates.

Don't see updates like this from many software companies.

Anybody notice the large reverse MPC lettering in the background and the reverse MPC Elements lettering in the lower left corner of the page? Blow up the image. Hmmm...

Just the next page in the Sweetwater catalogue, with the MPCs on it, showing through in the scan/photo.
