Well after much deliberation I broke down and bought a Studio a few days before this 1.5 announcement/teaser. So I feel pretty good about the purchase so far since I was just saying to myself "If only", referring to the dongle situation.
I know I shitted on the Studio in the past, but as of 1.4 and a need for a better mobile setup I found it to be the best option that fit my needs.

PSR's review and info on Tutors blog helped in my decision also.

I did the same thing! I got mine through ZZounds because they have the Easy payment plan and they will price match pretty much any other online music retailer. I found a place that had the Studio advertised for $389 while ZZ had it for $599. They said they couldn't do $389 because that was "abnormally low" but they could do $419 so I did it.

But now, after seeing the 'other Studio'...... man, I'm gonna have to seriously consider doing the old RMA thing before my 30 days is up.

I like the design and portability of the MPC Studio, but I already have Komplete and when I saw the video showing it come up on ONE of those color displays i was floored.
