Where's that thread go ?

I'm still confused about this new "feature"

What I've gathered - it doesn't actually change resolution , just what shows up on display - and two, it doesn't even really change what's on the display? So strange

I know you said it will make a difference in later updates... But why announce a new feature that doesn't make a difference till later updates? What does it change now?

And where'd that thread go? I hope I'm just being dumb and missed it but if that really got deleted cmonnnn. Please disregard if I'm wrong . There should be an update sent to those involved in a thread when it gets moderated like that

*** EDIT - OP OF ORIGINAL TOPIC HAD IT REMOVED, sorry for accusing u mods ***

I don't see the thread either, and am also confused by this...

I imagine 1.6 will include step editing - only reason I can see it useful. But even then... wouldn't it only be useful if it really changed the resolution?

I guess it's a cool "feature", but if it doesn't do anything now, then I'd be willing to bet it slipped through the cracks, and should have actually been hidden for this release. Software companies do that all the time - part of a feature may actually be *in* the release, but not turned on because it's either not fully tested, or not fully ready.

Regarding feeling silly, marketing is causing it IMO. Too much speculation because of the early announcements. People complain about Apple all the time, but when you keep your releases quiet until ready (like NI just did), then there's no question what the intent of the product is. It just all appears "intentional". That's the biggest gripe I have with Akai right now - none of this seems "intentional". It all seems like they are figuring it out along the way.

There's been threads mysteriously deleted on this forum before.
Come on, this is a bit silly; let people talk.
