MPC REN RECORDING ISSUES / TROUBLES Please gimme sum advice!

glad being here and in the hope of someone can help me out. I've tried different ways to solve the problem with no positive result. Here it goes ...

Im using IMAC 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
OS X 10.8.5

Renaissance latest firmware and software.

Im using the REN professionally, so Im for many many years a serious user of hardware. Got knowledge with everything related, so Im no newbie BUT here Im get stuck ... seriously. Well, the project Im in is not this big right now. It's about five tracks, two for the REN and three for external gear via midi. No internal efx used nor real time controls. If I play the pads on the REN in PLAY mode is everything fine. Do I play the pads while OVER DUB or REC mode I got lot's off hisses, glitches and the whole sequence got stuck. Im using the MPC sequencer, no Logic ... the sequencer that comes with the REN. On the other side when I play the same notes with my master keyboard in REC mode it's working fine.

The current project takes up to 24% of CPU usage in PLAY mode. In REC mode it goes up to 80% ... strange. It's the only program that's running besides kernel_task ...

I really hope someone can help me out.

I have the same problem when recording. It glitches and crackles like a mutha but is perfectly fine on playback with all my changes in perfectly and no glitches or crackles.

Not sure why but it's there for now.

Tried bumping up the audio buffer setting a little?

Thanks for the hint! Tried it before step wise no luck so far!
