Beat Battle 45

Congrats to MATTMAN on the win!!!!

Here is his sample and rules:

The sample is Henry Mancini's Police woman.
Rule is to only use the sample. No outside sounds.
There is a very good break at the beginning, so it's not one of those where you have to search for the drums.

I got a dropbox link this time too, so you don't have to mess with it later, lol.

PS: sample is named mpcbb46 and its actually battle 45 :-D

I wasn't aware that all this time that samples needed to be original non used samples....


Most of the samples that come threw here are used prior. I wasn't going to drop my last one that I did. That was my dig my find. And it was dope. I shared it any way. But I wouldn't always do that. I think allot of us on here would like to keep the super gems to ourselves. Besides if you reference every track you see come threw here to whosampledwhat.wack you would have many youtube refriances each session.
So make a banger better then those two shank. I'm sure you can surprise us.

(Although that outcast track would be hard to beat that's an ol banger itself!)

I did check whosampled it but I was well aware of those two gems...i guess alternates can be created, that Shook Ones refix round was petty good just a bit dissapointed with the last couple samples

I do have to agree with you that once I hear that the sample has been used, and used so well it's more challenging to get that tune out of my head. Specially when chopping mine. Most times I feel like there isn't a better way to chop it they already found and killed it!

yeah and that was my point...its so hard to shake those melodies, i cant hear much more potential for anything else so im gonna swerve this round...i may take a break and work on a mixtape submission or some sh*t...good luck f*ckers :mrgreen:

Alright I uploaded another sample for those who don't want to use the first one.

There is some extra percussion, and breaks in there too.
I can't promise this sample is untouched, but it's another option anyway.

The song is called whistle me some blues by Homer Denison.
For what it's worth it comes up negative at whosampled.com, lol.
