plus/minus buttons random function change

My jog wheel died awhile ago so I've been using the plus/minus buttons underneath it to change values. For the past month or so I've had this issue where I'll be making a beat and every now and again the plus/minus buttons will stop changing values and ONLY move the bars. When this happens I can't adjust any values or move the grid locator, basically anything on the main screen ceases functioning with the plus/minus buttons. I usually save and reset and everything returns to normal. Has anyone else had this issue or know what might cause it?

Sounds like its time to replace that jog wheel. I can't say for sure but believe that the cursors default to bar back and forward on main screen so to me it's not bug but a handy function. Have you tried a midi controller for some value changes? That might be better option IMHO

Thanks, I'm not too worried about the jog wheel. I've actually grown to prefer the plus/minus buttons. Thats weird that they default to bar forward/backward on yours and not on mine.
