When I load a program every pad I hit, the sample is sped up. I can fix this by dropping the tune to -12 and getting back to the original sound, but I shouldnt have to do this to every sample and program I have. Is there a master tune setting that I might of changed not knowing what it was or is my MPC showing signs of age?? If anybody knows anything about this please help me out. Thanks

Oh, never heard of such thing. Are you loading programs made by you earlier?
Are you loading from clear state not having any sequence loaded?
What if you record a sound thru analog in and assign to new program, does it still happening?

If all above answer is YES, than maybe reset MPC (hold erase key while powering on until you see main screen), or if it doesn't make a trick, download fresh OS and upload it to the unit. Which OS version is currently on it, with a number?

I have the JJ OS1 4.99 loaded. Will I lose this if I reset my MPC?

Freshly turned on, no sequences loaded, it happens with the default programs and any program I have created. I've also noticed that when I am in the mixer window, the levels are being adjusted by the q link without me touching them. Maybe a fresh OS is the answer but is there a way to load my JJOS back on there?

i had the exact problem once, was the samples, they had been saved like that i think, was a pain in the ass. i had a heap of breaks, so they would be playing mad fast when i was auditioning (alm0ost like being sampled in at 45 and pitched up)

people say its the samplerate, but i cant see how that can change within the mpc?

I even went to the trouble to import them into Reaper , re-export, with new names, and it would still do it.

i have a inkling it was a bug between free akai o.s. and the free jj0s

Not sure but, if levels are changing as you strike the pads in mixer window, than it seems q-links are ****ed up. Are they moving on all pads together or just one that is highlighted?

Reseting unit will not change or erase the OS, it's just reseting to "factory settings" of current OS.
