As most of you know I made the first video showcasing 1.5.I had alot of dialog with Dan Gill that day and one of the things he told me that day was the release date of 1.5........and that date was ......10 01 2013...the day it came out!! Contrary to belief 1.5 was not released due to the Maschine Studio announcement .this my brethren is the truth. I have no reason to lie to any of you.I bring this up because I see some in here pushing a conspiracy that just isn't true.Respect to all of you.

I don't think we will see a 1.6 by the end of the year based upon the frequency of the previous updates. They have been coming around every 3 months or so. There has been 5 updates since the product was released in Aug/Sept of last year.

I am hoping to see something around Namm 2014.

only one word is applicable when it comes to nukai releases...
IMMINENT

why are you 3 beta testers crying over the spilt milk?
maybe you three should make a video?

the truth is nukai got owned by NI

the truth is the Ren users got owned by nukais push for for Elements

interesting to see that as soon as 1.5 is released dj hellfire is in posting bugs - shame they release buggy software on purpose

Respect.

Was you sworn to secrecy or some shit that you couldn't tell us that from your video? I mean, we all knew the Element was gonna drop Oct.15, so it was expected to drop at that time. As we also saw, Element was pushed early as well as 1.5 (Oct 15, 1.5, Oct 15 1.5, get the connection?) So excuse my french but wtf are you talking about?

Nukai is doing too much at this time. They need to slow down and work with what they have. If they build a solid platform, they will sell units. All of this dicking around is gonna be the death of that company and they will sell it off and keep on walking. Seems like they are trying to get the jump on the other companies with minimal information, but the others have patience and determination to out do the MPC legacy. Wake up Akai and smell the coffee!

I wonder what Akai will do for the 2.0 upgrade. I could understand Maschine charging for it, because it is a major upgrade, all updates will be free until it is time to upgrade to the major version.

but with the Ren, the expensive price tag, the bugs and glitches.. I don't think it would be a good idea to charge for that upgrade if they do.

and I wonder if they will have a new controller too?

I am pretty sure there will be paid update for ren as well...here's two reasons why.

1. NI done it with maschine
2. Jehzy been floppn his gums throwing this idea around for few months, given he's only lab tester mouse he must have overheard scientist talk

2.0 should hopefully be at the level the software needed to be back in 2012. No need charging for what peeps already paid for in the OG price tags. That noise need to be killed real quick.

At some point I would expect paid upgrades, if we want development to continue, and to not have the product dropped, unfinished, as we have experienced many times before.
