As much as I hate it, the 3k can only store about 150 samples in its memory and doesn't
allow for sub folders when accessing drives.
Not to mention the lack of preview of the sample.
I use up most of the allowed amount of samples loaded on the mpc and leave a few for extra samples.
The reason being because I load up my drum pgm and play around with the drums, mix & match etc. then layer samples.
the few annoying things I found doing it this way is that new samples get thrown in with my drums and get lost with filenames sound145, ..etc
i'm too used to saving songs within a new folder and loading it as such with the mpc2500.
How do you all sort your samples?
