Hi guys,
So how do I record my drum patterns (snare, kicks, hats) all together, yet still be able to mute my, kick, or solo my hi-hat... I am hoping I don't have to record, each.. my kick.. (stop the overdub my snare (on a new track), stop then over-dub my hi-hat (on a new track), separately.. cause as of now that's the only way I've been able to solo just one sound, or mute just one sound

I WANT EACH PAD TO REPRESENT A SOUND THAT I CAN CHOOSE TO MUTE OR SOLO, EVEN THOUGH I LIKE TO RECORD MY DRUMS..LIKE A DRUM: Boom, ta, Boom, ta.. with all my fingers all at once. Thanks! :-)

what you do is record it all together on track one, copy it to track 2 and 3, now go into erase and in each track delete the pads out, like in track 1 delete the pads with the snare and the hat, leaving just the kick, track 2 delete the kick and the hat pads leaving the snare, track 3 delete the kick and snare leaving the hat... bam!!
