AKAI MPC 2000 LCD Problem

Dear MPC Forums Members,

i need your help! Ive bought me a akai mpc 2000 and worked with it 2 weeks and now the screen sometimes shows pixel failures sometimes not. ive put the akai mpc on the heating because i thought maybe the contacts or the board inside are damp..

can i fix this problem anyway without buying a expensive new screen?

no there is not a 'fix' besides a new screen.
though one member recently made this post which is, as homeboy mentioned above, the complete opposite of what you are doing.

my screen had a lot of lines on it. my power button broked back in the days im not sure if that have any connects with the lines the power button.
