Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

Now that i have the latency sorted out in my daw all seems good. But i still would rather Akai give us a few more tracks so you can actually use standalone mode to the fullest. But overall i really like the hardware when using essentials. I used the MPC studio software demo with the element and man i wish akai would give us an upgrade path from essentials to the real software instead of having to cop the ren or studio but i guess that wouldnt be too fair to the studio / ren owners and i hear that. But i would actually pay 50 bux if they did offer the upgrade or even an essentials upgrade with at least 4 more tracks available in standalone.

As it's smaller version of mpc software, it should work fine. I run mpc software on win8x64

What i can say about the Element is that if you are comfortable working in a daw when making music then you might like the element. But for standalone it only would be good if you are strictly sample based with your productions. Just my opinion.

Maybe they will fix it .... I 'll wait until i have more information about that to buy it ! Because i wan't to use it with ableton, it is not interesting to have only 1 track if I can not use it well in a DAW.

For what you get for $150, may wanan check ur budget and look at the full mpc software, as well as the essentials with the studio...

I don't know, that's a big grey area for me as a hobby. So, I had put it this way for myself ... stay on budget and get MPC Element and fix bugs with Akai & Forums help. Or if I have to go out of my budget then get MASCHINE over studio. As the support is there for Video/forum/DAW, both as plugin and as controller alone.

When I think of MPC, I think of the Akai MPC. Whether it be an economic to expensive model, the support should be the same.

I feel U fam. This is just a hobby for me these days, tho I do geta lil change here and there. IT's why I opted to go with MPC Studio (Element didn't exist yet...) So far, I am not disappointed. Just optimistic that they are trying to finally fix their reputation over the last years and keep this moving along... Otherwise I will speak with my wallet and spend my lil change, elsewhere
