Does someone have any experience with the Akai S6000?
I just bought one, and I'm sequencing it with the MPC60 (OS 2)
All works great except:
When multiple S6000 programs are triggered (multi), the S6000 OS lacks speed. I mean when I'm changing parameters and navigate through menu's, the screen redraw is extremely slow on the S6000.
I'm not sequencing a lot of programs (2 to 4). No effects used.
Does the MPC60 send out too much MIDI data? Or is the S6000 extremely poor CPU-wise?
Is someone experiencing the same with these units?
PS: When I'm just fooling around with it (no external sequencing), the S6000 is really snappy!
