mpc studio, what about the groove?

Hey,

I'm a mpc 60 user. What I really love is the groove. Specially that earlier/later feature. Which doesn't exist in DAW. Or maybe I missed something.

Does that function exist with mpc studio?

Any mpc60/300 users switched to mpc studio?

your talking about note shift right? yes it does. on your computer keyboard hold shift + arrow keys to move in small increments and just the arrow keys to move in larger increments or go into the TC window and adjust there.

Yes, it has that feature! This is one of the things I missed most when I went to Maschine. Also has strength as well!

Earliness/Lateness is renamed to Shift Timing. Negative numbers are earlier while positive numbers are later.

For me the quantize on the Renaissance is incredible.

Do keep in mind that I've been relying on Cubase 5 for my quantize duties for the past couple of years.

No.

Not technically, but you can easily adjust it while the sequencer plays and the adjustments take effect immediately upon pressing Do It without interrupting playback.

You know that's nothing like realtime quantize!

They need to get it in there as it's a very useful thing to have.

Just saying, it's way better than say an XL or 2500/1000 where you have to completely stop the sequencer just to quantize anything.

Sounds like they're one step away from being fully realtime.
