Where can I find MPC Studio midi breakout cables?

Picked up an MPC Studio for less than $200 with all included except the midi breakout cable. Can anyone tell me where I can pick some up? I looked at the usual places and couldnt find em. Thanks.

Sounds like he picked up a second hand Studio, and they are missing. They do not come with the Renaissance, it has full sized MIDI ports and does not need the adapters.

Maybe try an Akai supplier to see if they are available as a spare part, MPC-Stuff has some listed, though there is no indication if they are the same as the originals or not...

The adapters that come with the MPC Studio are short, and have a female 5 pin DIN connector, they are designed to be used with a normal MIDI cable of the required length to complete the connection from the MPC Studio, through the adapter, to the MIDI device.

Those cables on eBay, as mentioned above, have a male 5 pin DIN connector, so you would buy them to the correct length to reach from your MPC Studio to the gear you want to connect to, or extend them using am additional 5 pin female DIN to 5 pin female DIN adapter and a normal MIDI cable.

If you can solder, you could buy the connectors/cable and make them up yourself, but probably would not save much over eBay cables.

These also work to go from a midi keyboard to the PC for $5.

I use a 25key midi keyboard for my MPC studio but its connected to the PC and the software sees it. The midi and USB connections on the Studio and Renn are just passthru connections to the PC, into the MPC software so as long as the PC sees it, they can control the MPC software....

However , someone just offered me a 2500 for it.
i already have one but I think I'd be an idiot not to do it as long as the 2500 works.
