What computer OS are you running?

Are you trying to install the software from the supplied installation discs, or from the downloaded MPC Software 1.5 update?

If not trying from a downloaded update, maybe give that a try.

MPC Software version 1.4 and 1.5 default to running in 64 bit mode.

The supplied plugins on the discs are 32 bit versions, and will not work in MPC Software 64 bit mode.

Upgrade the plugins by running the 1.5 installer, then choosing the option to update the plugins, after initially installing them from the discs, and they should run in MPC Software 64 bit mode.

Or you can run MPC Software in 32 bit mode, if you have other 32 bit only plugins that you want to use.

No problem, many here have been through the same problems already, so it is pretty standard stuff.

What is the content problem you are having?

Akai really dropped the ball on this stuff, leaving users to try and sort out the 32/64 bit issues themselves, the 1.5 firmware/brick debacle, no mention on website about Mavericks support, etc.
