Metronome question

Hi all,

Just got a new used MPC2500 SE, and it's great.

I'm running through the manual, but there's one issue I can't figure out.

When I start recording, the metronome starts clicking, and it starts recording straight away.

Is there anyway to set it up so I get metronome clicks for, let's say one bar, before the actual recording begins? Like a pre-count.

According to the manual it should work this way out of the box, but I don't see where to configure this.

Any help welcome

Page 16 in the manual

On the main screen press f2 [CLICK] and select the count in field.
Change it to [REC ONLY]





You should now get a one bar count in before recording starts
