I am sending my Ren back to AKAI for a warranty repair on the pads and the Mic inputs.... Has anybody gone though a warranty repair on there Ren? If so did they just send you a new boxed Ren or did they take the time to repair yours and sent it back to you? I don't know what to do or what to expect... the email said they were going to repair mine but ask me to send everything that came with my ren...I dont want to send back everything and not get my usb cable and power adapter back....and calling them is a pain in the ass...always waiting on the phone for a tech...45 min wait yesterday...lol...any insight will help...Thanks

I never had any former mpc break (lucky I guess.. def never banged on any of mine like some tho) but I have had to return stuff before. Send everything that came with it... they will likely send u new everything anyway. Just send ren alone and they may take longer to 'refurbish' urs and send back. Good chance that soon as they get, and everything there, they grab new box and send back to u, while they go thru ur old as manufactured refurb...

I've been thinking about doing the same thing too! The volume knobs seem to be a little crappy... Also I've noticed that when the volume is real low, the right side seems to be "bleeding" a little bit... as it seems to be louder than the left side. Any thoughts, should I send this unit to be repaired, or is there anything else I could try?
